Dragoon Light Forces Vehicle

The Dragoon Light Forces Vehicle is a variant of the basic Dragoon Armored security Vehicle (ASV), fitted with a one-man dual machine gun turret.The basic configuration provides seating for up to six occupants.

Stowage is provided for weapons, ammunition, field rations, personal gear and other mission related equipment. Provision is made for the installation of most vehicular radio communications systems, including multi-station intercoms.

At its gross vehicle weight rating (GVW) of 28,000 lbs., the Dragon is capable os highway speeds in excess of 70 miles per hour.

The exclusive Dragoon Power Pack system permits removal of the engine, transmission, cooling, hydraulic and electrical systems as an integral unit, providing maintenance personnel with ground access to all major systems. The extensive use of field-proven military and heavy duty commercial components assures a ready supply of replacement parts. All Dragoon Armored Vehicle models are designed for functional simplicity and parts interchangeability.

The Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS) automatically regulates the tire pressure at each wheel to adapt to most terrain conditions. The dragoon may be equipped with a variety of other options and features to meet special requirements and user specifications.
